Trump is in this for trump.

He's got a point though.

Re: Who agrees with trumpy??
Trump is in this for trump. He's a self obsessed egotistical lunatic who appeals to uneducated, paranoid idiots. He probably doesn't even believe what he says. He was a democrat years ago, but knew that by appealing to the paranoid insecurities of the republican far right that he would get more support, hence the switch.

What is disturbing but unsurprising is the amount of redneck fuckwits that lap up his poison.

The USA is a basket case if a country now

What gets me is how quick everyone is to pretend there isn't a problem with extreme islam instead the problem is wider societies misunderstanding of muslims.
have people forgot about paris, 7/7 and others already?
I have been one in the past who has always stated not every muslim is extreme, its just gets me how people are trying to live in denial and deflect, its ridiculous.

Just like wasps, loads of angry people all buzzing around trying to get there point over in the media with their virtue signalling.

Ooooh I'm outraged and proffesionally offended that someones had a go at all the nice Muslims.

I don't see how he poked anything, he merely made a suggestion that is completely unworkable at best and he was widely mocked, no one takes him seriously and he doesn't expect to be either imo.

Trump is a bit of a loud mouth twat, but he's certainly stirred a pot that needs stirring.

As I've said before, like poking a wasps nest with a stick.

Sir Alf is right - the biggest obstacle to moving forward is from those that either try to shout down any debate on the subject or, equally sinister, place pre-conditions about what can and cannot be discussed.

Surely if what these people believe is correct then an open debate will clearly vindicate them; the opposite is, of course equally true and would show them up for what they are.

For them, leaving the question un-debated and encouraging people to focus their attentions elsewhere allows them to conduct "business as usual" for as long as they want.

I'd take the debate even further - what a society - ANY society - asks of any religion in it's midst must be prepared to accept the same questions can be asked of ALL religions within that society - and those religions must accept it is the society, and not (any of) those religions, that dictate the timetable.

"Where are the Muslim voices saying that they recognise that the backward looking interpretation of the Quran is absurd and a problem?"

Take your fingers out your ears and the cloth from your eyes and you'll hear and see the everywhere. You really are taking an extremely blinkered view if you think this isn't occurring, it smacks like I've said before of merely creating the world you want rather than finding the world as it is.

Try listening to political discussion in the media if you want to hear this stuff, but you won't because you want to keep believing your own lie.

Re: Who agrees with trumpy??
Aside from the handbags on here, the question not answered by Muslims or at least not one I have ever heard, is the compatibility of a religion that does not seperate rule of law, faith and system of government with a secular society that has its own rule of law and systems of government.. How can a community where democracy is not recognised, women oppressed, moderate or reformist Muslims prevented from speaking out due to Sharia Law's rule on apostasy etc, where the community wants it own education system and curriculum etc. how can that be compatible with a Western, secular society that has had a reformation and period of enlightenment, believes in equality, democracy and multi faith, no faith ?

Why can we not hear the voices of reform. Wheer are the Muslim voices saying that they recognise that the backward looking interpretation of the Quran is absurd and a problem? Why do the Muslims that want their own sub culture want to live in the UK within a society they revile? I would like to hear those voices. The moderates exist of course but the Quran, the faith, rule of law and strict, 700 year old view of the world maintains the status quo by suppressing the modernisers.

While this sub-culture is allowed to exist and the leaders of the Muslim communities like Imans are recruited from the Middle East and not from UK born Muslims, how will anything change? The indocrination will continue. young men will told they are being humiliated by the infidels, and some will want to do something about it. But even the silent majority, who do not act, will continue to be silent. Who are the leaders of the Muslim world in the UK?, why am I not seeing or hearing from them? Why would they not be vocal in condemning the extremism but also in defending or answering the charges that their faith/rule of law/system of govt (aka Quran/relgion) is incompatible with the secular society of the UK. We cannot even have the conversations. Perhaps the inconvenient truth is that the majority of Muslims would like to see their culture, faith, values, rule of law to be the law etc. of the UK?

Instead of the discussion, the UK media, politicians. Eurocrats shut down every chance for dialogue and assume its bigotry or racism. Poiltical correctness is denying the opportinity for dialogue and discussion which, in the end is the only way to start solving what looks like a clash of civilisations?

I have to say that until we know where we all stand, we should IMO prevent the increased numbers swelling a subculture that does not want to be part of the host culture it is embedded in. Trump may actually be saying the same ?

Funny that people wonder why the world is in such a state, all you have to do is look on threads like these to witness the mentality of some people. No wonder the worlds fucked.

You said found guilty. By whom? A cnn news report or a british court? Post Some evidence of this specific offence of applying sharia law or being a member of muslim patrol.

Oh, and why are you so angry? I thought atheists were comfortable in their skin and chilled out, you sound like an extremist fundamentalist, you know, the type of ethnics you hate.

"I don't know if there are any..", " I haven't got a clue...".

I rest my case your honour.

Will, my offer of taking you to the areas you may eventually list as no go areas remains.

So people got guilty of applying muslim patrol? Post the link on that please. I never knew there was a specific offence called being engaged in muslim patrol.

Hang on you stupid cunt. Are all you Muzzies liars and cheats? Oh yes Islam allows you to do that with infidels doesn't it? So no-one can trust a word you say...

Anyway I've never said there were no go areas because I don't if there are any. You made that up about me being afraid of no go areas because you were losing an argument. I haven't got a clue where any no go areas are but Katy Hopkins made the point that there are plenty where she gets spat at and told to cover here head.

Then of course there were 5 Muslims found guilty of applying Sharia Law Patrols near their mosque. Yes English people were told that it was a no go area for them where anyone carrying alcohol, gay suspects or couples holding hands were not allowed to go into the Muslim area....

You apologist peanut prick for ISIS
